You up for doing something a little mindless? We could probably hang out somewhere quiet and not talk or talk as much as we like?

[For once in what felt like a long time? Getting a message from Leo doesn't get an angry bitter feeling in Donnie. And that's kinda nice, also he's been missing his brother even if he won't admit it.]

I can go for mindless, yeah. Anywhere in particular you have in mind to hang out?

I'm thinking people watching and eating pizza on a rooftop could be fun. Unless you want to enjoy the great indoors and people watch in a pizza parlor?

Rooftop pizza sounds good, actually.

[He's not really feeling like being around too many people right now either.]

[He had a feeling Donnie wouldn't want to people right now.]

I pick the pizza, you pick the rooftop?

My only stipulation is no Hawaiian pizza, and I got a roof in mind.

[Someplace that would be mutal, not the apartment rooftop because he feels like that would be too... weird? Yeah, weird. But he sends a location for a moderately sized building in Elipsa that he knows the roof gets no traffic.]

I'll grab a cheese, extra cheesy even and we'll call it good.

Meet you in five-ten minutes?

[he does make it to the rooftop early though, and when Leo shows up? Donnie is sitting at the edge and just kind of watching the street movements down below.]

[Leonardo makes a point to grab the extra cheesy pizza, a lot of napkins and a few little wet wipes he figures Donnie likely will want.

He saunters over casually, not even being sneaky.]

Hey, Dee. Enjoying the people watching? Seen any drama?

[He wasn't exactly looking at what's going on down there, he might be having some intrusive thoughts that Leo interrupts. As he shifts to look at his twin with a slight grin.]

Nothing worth talking about, alas.

[grabaslice]

Damn, you'd think there would be at least one soap opera level dramatic reveal going on. [He muses with a chuckle as he moves to set the box down next to Donnie.

He moves it sit down on the rooftop, letting his legs dangle over while keeping his ass planted on the roof.] People love having big dramatic displays on the street, so, anything is game around here.

Nope, although I was considering what would happen if I spit from up here.

[The intrusive thoughts, they are immature, as he's going to go for the pizza once Leo's seated.]

Knowing our luck, Dee, you'd ding someone who could fly up to investigate and would be inclined to start something. [Leonardo shifts enough to get comfortable. He reaches out to grab a slice for himself after Donnie has one.]

[He gives a sort of half-snort half-chuff, since he's got pizza in his mouth which makes it hard to say anything. He just looks amused at Leo now.]

I'm just saying, if you're gonna start something aim for someone who can't fly. [He wiggles his pizza slice vaguely, before moving to bring it up to his mouth to take a bite.] Look for someone with horns, probably.

Knowing our luck? Someone with horns can fly, Nardo.

[But he does lean a little forward, dangerously so.]

Means you shouldn't take the gamble, unless you really wanna make us go on the run with this pizza.

I could just blame you and keep the pizza. [He'd do it, don't tempt him.]

Cruel, cruel and unusual threats, Donathan. [He lobs back casually.] I even got you extra cheese.

Yes, and? [Extra cheese cannot spare you from shenanigans, Leo.]

Your cruelty knows no bounds, clearly. [He's just going to work on his own slice of pizza, unable to stop himself from smiling. It feels a lot better now that they've at least found some peace.]

I should've grabbed some bread sticks or something, but, we'll see how we fare with the pizza we've got.

If you're still hungry after this, we could always go for more.

[be it breadsticks or more pizza, he's good for either really. As he finishes off his first slice before going for a second.]

Or something else. [He says between bites.]

The sky is the limit here, there are more than enough choices we could eat anything and anywhere. [Leonardo occasionally gets overwhelmed with that.]

Maybe I should've gotten pepperoni, been a long time since I've eaten meat. [He's been veggie life style for a while and kind of forgotten he had meat as an option.]

... yeah. [Oh Donnie knows about getting overwhelmed, he who has been living off what little he knows how to cook and grilled cheeses since Leo left.]

If it's been a while it probably wouldn't be good on your stomach hopping straight into something greasy like pepperoni.

Spiritually I cave the grease, physically, will I be too weak? [He presses the back of his palm against his forehead, leaning into the melodrama to maybe get a smile out of Donnie.]
