C'mon, Dee.... C'mon. Please- [He sighs as the relic rings. Leonardo hangs up. He waits a few moments before trying again.]

[Good idea, because the relic picks up and well...] Goddamn, fucking hell...

[Sounds like maybe he doesn't know he answered???]

[The swearing is not a great sign. It just sets the turtle on edge.]

Donnie-? [He can hear how distant his brother's voice is, and it leaves the turtle wondering if Donnie intended to pick up.] Dee?

[Just enjoy hearing whatever is going on here, Leo.]

Donnie-? Please tell me it's not... [The sound of a fight happening does nothing to ease Leonardo any. He holds the relic close, feeling frozen in place for a bit too long.]

Fuck. [Leonardo goes quiet after that, just trying to be patient as he listens to the fight unfold. He doesn't want to distract Donnie from what is happening.

Though the other turtle can likely feel Leonardo pour some of his ninpo energy into their connection. Trying to bolster whatever Donnie creates.]

[Enjoy all of that noise and Donnie cussing and such, before the relic is picked up and he finally replies. He sounds so very very tired.]

[Leonardo isn't sure if the sound of a gunshot is any better or what. The timeline is wibbly wobbly, so Leonardo is a lot calmer compared to when he let himself break down with Caduceus earlier.

His voice is calm but serious as he speaks.]

Donnie. Where are you right now? Are you hurt?

Mm. Thoth. [Wait, no that's probably not a good answer.]

The school in Wintermute, with Casey's work... I could be better?

Right. The gunshot doesn't inspire confidence in things being great. I feel like I know what attacked you at least. The teenagers were attacked too. [He offers that, side stepping Casey's death for now.]

Stay there, Donnie. Caduceus and I will come over to you.

Ugh, I'm fine don't bring your boyfriend.

[He is not fine, but maybe blood loss means he is being very open about his opinions of certain people.]

[That feels like a punch in the ribs, all the air knocked clean out of him. The turtle stiffens up, grip tightening around his relic. Donnie just blatantly seeing through him, even with his attempts to bury the feelings-

He doesn't want it. He doesn't like it.

It's not like he can have anything like that again. He never will. He wouldn't inflict that on Caduceus.]

You were in a fight with an evil goo, you idiot. So, yeah my friend and I are coming. [He rubs at his face with his free hand, trying to focus on Doing, rather than Feeling.] Caduceus can at least stop you from probably bleeding out and cleanse the damn remains of the goo. It can possess people.

I know, it tried with my one arm... I shot it.

[For now though, Donnie is putting down his relic and Leo gets to hear him ripping fabric. Or trying to, since he's only got one hand, so he can deal with the bleeding himself.]

Donatello. [It's the leader voice practically barking out his twin's name.] Just stay put.

[He presses his relic against his chest plates, calling out to the firbolg.]

Caduceus, Belos attacked Donnie in Wintermute!

[There's a pause, and then footsteps, as Caduceus approaches, grasping his staff from where he'd left it against a wall. He is. So tired. But he's ready to go, and finish things. This undead monster will not be tolerated or allowed to hurt anyone else.]

Got it. Let's move.

[Ooough this is a lot harder than he thought, also boy that's a lot of blood, also. Really Leo? He barely listened to you back home, what makes Leo think that is going to work here?]

I'm fine, neither of you need to come I can handle this...

[He raises the relic up enough to hear that, managing to not sigh.] ... Seriously, Donnie?

[The turtle softens by several degrees as he takes in how... tired Caduceus seems. Donnie needs them.]

Hopefully, this will be the end of it. [He offers gently to the firbolg. He hesitates before reaching out to touch his hand against Caduceus's arm.]

Here, let me just give you a boost? I have enough magic to help.

[Oh, Donatello does not sound good over the relic. Caduceus blinks at the offer, though he doesn't resist... at least, not physically. However-]

Let's head there, first. I don't want you to strain yourself, when we need your power to get us there.

[He saw Leonardo practically tear his hand open trying to create a portal earlier back to the lair. Triage: they need to reach Donatello first, and if he runs out now, flying would very likely be too slow. If he still has magic to spare then, they can discuss it.]

Right. [He's not about to argue the point, he reluctantly closes the relic. Cutting his connection to his twin for the moment. He tucks his relic into his pocket, exchanging it for a stone that fits neatly in his palm.

Time away from the situation, time to grieve, did its job. Leonardo is centered as he can manage. Calm, controlled, commander.

Leonardo takes a step or two back to use his ninpo to draw his katana to the surface. The portal opens with a swipe of his blade through the air. The magic crackles and settles.] Here.

[They will step through into the lab with no issue at least.]

[The lab... Has seen better days, the fact it looks like an explosive went off in it shouldn't surprise Leo considering he was listening to what went down. But two things are of note; one!

Casey's dialysis machine is in one piece, huzzah!

And two, there is a nice mixture of inert Belos goo and blood that is very obviously not red. Which honestly Leo will know whose blood that is, especially since the source of it is slumped near the machine and he tiredly looks in the direction of Leo's portal.]

[You know, if you ignore that his one arm has been shot. Totally fine!]

[Cadauceus takes in the sight around them as he strides towards where Donatello has fallen.]

Mm, yes, you look just great. [What a mess. Nothing about this place looks natural, which is par for the course when it comes to Thoth (he doesn't come here often for a few reasons, that being one of them) but there's no mistaking that familiar goo. Even the blood, though...

Well, nothing to be done about that right now. It's already out of him, so let's focus on keeping the rest in. He crouches down next to Donatello to examine the wound, calling back to Leonardo.]

Same as last time, then. Keep watch while I do this.

[Just like with Hunter, it wasn't entirely safe while he healed. If the goo becomes active again, someone will have to step in, and he's about to be busy.]

[Leonardo manages to restrain a sigh at his twin’s insistence. Donnie as always is… Donnie. The lab has seen much better days, but it can be cleaned up once Donnie is stable.] Just let us help you, Dee.

[He trails a little after Caduceus, but doesn’t stick too close. His attention is on the goo around them. Not great.] Understood. I got you.

I handled it, if it was still active it would have done something by now.

[But he isn't in much of a state to do anything about Cad and whatever he's up to, as much as Donnie doesn't like the guy.

The wound is to his forearm, thankfully, and very much from a small caliber gun. If Cad even knows what that looks like. There are signs of some attempt to either stop the bleeding or clean himself up, judging by the fact there is pink blood on the shirt Donnie is wearing.]

Also I was very careful, I know how to shoot.
