[Leo coming closer makes him panic, and he grabs the closest thing which happens to be a vial of blood and throws it at Leo to get him to back off.]

Don't touch me.

[Given the shoving and violence, it shouldn't surprise Leo that Donnie reacts badly to Leo getting closer. The blood vial cracks him across the face hard enough it shatters instantly.

The older turtle reels backwards, swearing. He's lucky enough he closed his eyes, so no glass got into his eyes. It still cuts his face. He's open for another attack at this point.]

Donnie!

[Oh shit, he was more expecting it to hit Leo in the chest not the face. So there is a brief moment of hesitation before he's moving to shove Leo now, in a kind of blind panic at this moment.

He doesn't even say anything now.]

For fuck's sake, Donnie! [The shove does a fair job of helping Leo stumble backwards, colliding with some furniture on the way. Some equipment hits the ground with a loud crash.

Leo manages to regain his footing, the element of surprise gone. Now Leo is just settled back on angry. He charges forward, unsurprisingly there is blood and glass everywhere. He slips, tumbling forward. In his sudden rush of momentum and blood, he catches Donnie in his fall, and slams his chest hard against the edge of the table.]

[The audible crack that follows the hard landing fills the space. Leo doesn't react for a moment. Dazed, angry and now covered in blood. Bits of glass poke out of his skin.

He pushes himself up on his good arm, barring his teeth. Unaware that his chest plate has cracked again. The carefully applied resin having broken just enough that his chest plate droops slightly, exposing the dark cavern inside to some extent.

Leo knows he's hurting, but his focus is still on his idiot brother. The severity of the injury doesn't register.]

Apologize to my fucking son.

[Leo gets him, and he goes down too. But thankfully he only ends up with glass in his skin, nothing cracked or broken. Which is surprising considering his shell is way softer than Leo's.

But that's not important, he hears that crack. He's heard it before and he hates that sound as he's scrambling to get up. Which means he's getting cut up some more, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that Leo's hurt, and he can see it's not something small either.]

Leo stop.

You really can't tell me what to do at this point. [He bites back out, breathing out heavily now. Another bit of resin begins to crack from him forcing himself up. Casey's hard work is holding elsewhere on the original crack, but the top edge is starting to droop forward.]

Stop fucking moving!

[There is panic in Donnie's voice, any anger or upset he had about what got them to this point? Gone, because this is bad this is bad. As he's just moving to find where the hell did he stash his spoon?

He doesn't have the resources to patch Leo up readily on hand, and he is trying to decide what to do first. Make Leo not move? Do whatever one is supposed to do to get stuff with the spoon? He is very much not contacting Casey.]

[The panic is what makes Leo register something is actually wrong. The crack comes back to mind, and he realizes rapidly, 'Oh this is bad'.

He can't quite get his breathing under control, but he's seated enough he can press his palm against the shell piece to try and hold it in place.]

Oh.

[SAYING NOTHING at that "Oh" but Leo is going to hear probably the most swearing from his twin he's ever heard. As he's moving to find his spoon and also... It was water right? Where the fuck is water? Sorry Leo, you're to be left alone while Donnie is off to use what Lore he does have to purchase what he needs.

Saline to clean the opening, probably fresh surgical wiring maybe a drill? No, he's sure that Casey's work is still there it hasn't been that long, he'll just have to touch that up... And an epoxy resin. Oh and painkillers, since he can actually get those now, and he is sure Leo would like that.

So it's a bit before he returns with said haul, even as he himself is slowly becoming a bit of a bloody mess from falling onto glass. He says nothing though and is just going to get right to work on his stupid stupid twin.]

[Unfortunately, he's ended up drooping slowly into the table leg. His palm is pressed tightly against the new opening, trying to keep anything else from popping open from the sudden weight bearing down on the resin, screws and wires. He is deathly silent out of habit. Just visibly shaking where he's seated.

Some of the blood is now his blood. Not that it's obvious in the mess their fight caused.

Leonardo looks at his brother, trying for a thumbs up, but it just earns a breathy pained sound when he lets go for just a moment. He won't fight Donnie about being worked on whilst prone on the floor.

At worst, he takes a sharp breath, but is just very still.]

[Yeah know what? Before he even gets to working?

Leo is having painkillers put down his throat, well okay not forcefully done. But he is being given something to make the pain less. Then Donnie will get to work, working from what Casey did already. Which will get Leo hearing a "Good job, Junior" from under Donnie's breath as he's quickly replacing and tightening the wires once more. Once that is done to his satisfaction, he's getting what he needs to mix up the epoxy resin and using the saline to rinse out any dirt or stray old resin out of the wound too.]

[He manages to take the pills dry, only gagging a little but doesn't fight against much. He definitely needs the painkillers at this point.

His head lulls backwards as he takes in one deep breath and another. He watches Donnie work. There is a flicker of pride for praise for Casey. At the moment, the situation is too much of a mess for Leo to say much.

He knows Donnie prefers working in silence anyway.]

[Funnily enough, the silence isn't going to last. Donnie just keeps muttering to himself, mostly about how this is stupid and that this is his fault. But he does what he needs to, going slowly with the resin application, since he doesn't want to miss a spot. All while he's getting more and more feverish from his medicine earlier, and dizzy.

Leo might notice a bit of a wobble to Donnie's hands, but he is doing his best to be steady as possible.]

Almost, Dee. Almost done. [He offers back, trying to do... something to keep his brother in the moment. He sees the start of a wobble in his twin's hands.] Get far as you can, and we'll call it good on this.

No. [He hisses, shaking his head to keep himself focused as he keeps working.]

I have to fix this.

If you're about to pass out, it won't do either of us any good, Donnie. [Leo loosely knew how to seal himself with resin. Though it would be messy and ugly.]

I'm not... I'm just, hot. [He is getting every nook and cranny as he can. He doesn't want Leo's shell to break again, and he is going to make sure it won't.]

What did you do- before I got here? [He questions quietly back, his gaze flicking between Donnie's hands and his work.]

Hm? [What did he do before Leo showed up? Ah, yeah...]

I mixed up a medicine that should kill off the infection, so the... Ah fever is one of the side effects, I guess?

[Not telling Leo that he straight up is testing it on himself instead of, say, on a blood sample. Although it shouldn't be too hard to figure that out.]

This is your first time using it, huh? [Unfortunately, he knows Donnie well enough to take a shot in the dark.]

... not like I can test it on anyone else. [Almost done here! Resin being applied so good.

Also Leo might notice from the cuts on Donnie that the blood is slightly pink, not that he needs that confirmation considering the blood samples that got thrown about earlier.]

You can test it on your blood first. [He lobs back, squinting at his twin.] Well. Before I broke a lot of the vials.

That won't tell me of any side effects, Leo.

[And done, which is probably a good thing because he is really damned dizzy right now and... down he goes, thankfully not towards the table but Donnie is totally going to end up on some glass.]

[Any counterargument Leo has dies in the back of his throat as Donnie goes down.]

Fuck. Okay. [He's not supposed to move much after being resin'd. He manages to carefully sit up, balancing his shell against a table leg.] Yeah, it's really not working out for you, so far, Dee.

[He needs to gather his strength before he can try to get Donnie up.]
